- Reported ground-breaking investigative stories that held the powerful accountable, uncovered the truth and broke down complex systems in a meaningful, digestible way.
- Conducted deep-diving research by attaining and digging into court records, public documents, maintaining source relationships and filing public records requests.
- Scripted and reported deep-diving investigations in both documentary form, episodic series as well as was relied upon for day-of live, breaking news content.
- Created the award-winning series, “The Price of Care.” From scouring hundreds of court documents to interviewing dozens of sources, this multi-year investigation resulted in two episodic seasons that broke down the legally and financially complicated world of conservatorships that impact our most vulnerable populations. This reporting has been credited for getting legislation that changes California’s conservatorship system passed as well as initiating the state agency, The Department of Developmental Services, to reform their own conservatorship system that over 400,000 of their clients are subject to.
- Reporting accrued over 3.5 million YouTube views on ABC10’s page within three years as well as won multiple awards.

Washington D.C. April 2018 – February 2020.
- Produced original, compelling reports for broadcast and digital audiences for all 66+ local television stations in 54 markets under the TEGNA broadcast brand.
- Launched a documentary series called “HeartThreads.” Researched, conducted interviews, filmed and edited high-quality, deep-diving documentary-style reports that resulted in 45 million YouTube views and over 700,000 followers on Facebook Watch within the first year.
- Wrote AP style articles in an exciting, thought provoking, authentic manner.
- Conducted interviews, directed crews, filmed, scripted, edited and voiced over video stories.
- Reported and turned packages under a tight deadline as well as complex, long form pieces that took months to research and report.
- Curated a digital and social plan that led to over 45 million views and 700,000 followers on Facebook Watch during my first year at HeartThreads.
- Wrote social copy and handled publishing HeartThreads content nationwide to all TEGNA stations’ websites and social media pages.
